Who is Muddy Creek Ceramics?

Hey there! I’m Melinda, the sole creator of this ceramics shop, where every piece of pottery is designed and hand crafted by me. My hope is to connect the human touch of ceramics into a special moment, ritual or space for your home and life.

From the moment of my first community class is Harrisonburg, Va in 2018 I knew I found a place to rest my mind and connect with my creative spirit. Amidst the mothering duties of little ones at that time I found space, community and a piece of me that was desperate to be nurtured. It was slow and drawn out between times with clay until recently in 2023 with teenagers wanting their own space I had time to redirect my focus on my passion of pottery.

So here I am creative playing, making a mess and forming beauty in pieces for you to enjoy and I hope you do!
